As Associate Director of Finance and Operations for the Office of International Study Programs (OISP), I am responsible for managing all financial and operational matters concerning OISP programs. I work closely with faculty to plan their Dialogue of Civilizations trips and I am the liaison between Student Billing and this office. I have been at Northeastern for eight years working in various budget and finance capacities. Before Northeastern I worked in public accounting and spent 10 years at AT&T as a financial systems analyst. I have a B.A. in English from UMass/Amherst, a Certificate in Accountancy from Bentley University, a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and a Certificate in Non Profit Management from Northeastern. Having a strong interest in international travel and global education, I am thrilled to be working here at OISP.

I obtained a BA in Economics and Psychology from Brandeis University and an MS in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University. While completing my graduate studies, I participated in a culture study tour of colleges and universities in Australia, investigating similarities and differences between Australian and U.S. student services practices. This opportunity proved to be an unforgettable and once-in-a-lifetime experience. During my time in Australia, I had the opportunity to travel and study the landscape and education system of the southern region, as well as experience first-hand the genuine hospitality of the Australian people. My previous work experiences serving the U.S. higher education market support the importance of study abroad and international exposure for students in today's global workplace. I have a passion for international travel and great appreciation for different cultures. I look forward to working with the NEU community in their study abroad endeavors and share my international travel experiences!

I am a senior Political Science student with minors in International Affairs, History, and Middle East Studies. This is my second coop, as I have previously worked at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. For the past three years at NU, I have been very involved in the United Nations Association, which has infused me with a passion for international affairs and diplomacy. In addition, I have participated in many various clubs on campus including NUCALLS, the Political Science Student Association, and the Latino American Student Organizations on campus. Last year I went on our incredible Dialogue program to Egypt and I hope to study abroad again before graduating. My interests include history, current events, Middle East studies, and cultural diversity. In my free time I enjoying making mixed media art as well as spending time with family and friends whenever I can.
