I obtained a BA in English Literature from Rust College and a MA in Spanish Literature from the University of Mississippi. I was fortunate enough to participate in two education abroad programs; first in Salamanca, Spain and the second in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. I can not overstate the significance of how each experience transformed my life. That is why I am committed to increasing the participation of US students in study abroad, especially Northeastern University students and especially students from underrepresented populations.

I obtained a BA in Political Science from Northeastern University and a MA in Middle East Studies from the American University of Beirut. During my third year of college I studied abroad at the American University of Paris in Paris, France. My experience in Paris was priceless since I had the opportunity to live in one of the most revered cities in the world. Throughout my studies there I became accustomed with Parisian art and architecture, food, society, politics and much more. I was also lucky enough to travel to some neighboring countries which ultimately paved the way towards my second study abroad in Beirut, Lebanon.

I graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Psychology and from Northeastern University with a MS in School Counseling. I studied abroad my junior year of college in London, England and traveled through Europe the following summer. Some of my most memorable moments were bungy jumping in Interlaken, Switzerland, petting monkeys atop the Rock of Gilbraltar, visiting Park Guell in Barcelona, watching the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, and picnicking in Hyde Park. I studied theatre, art, the historical development of London and psychology.

I am a junior at Northeastern University majoring in Political Science and International Affairs. I have attended brief faculty led study abroad programs to Brussels, Belgium, and Geneva, Switzerland. That trip included some of the best times of my life, and soon I hope to study abroad in Egypt. As a result, I'll be going through all the same process as all of you. If you have any questions, just let me know and I'll be more than willing to help.
