Planning Council
The University Planning Council (UPC) is appointed
and charged by the president of the university each year. The UPC plays
a custodial role in reviewing the Action and Assessment Plan, the university’s
strategic plan. An annual Report Card, which measures progress on a set
of key measures, is assessed annually to ensure that progress is being
made toward the specific goals presented in the plan. The UPC submits
its recommendations to the president for review and approval as the plan
is updated.
The UPC undertakes its work during the spring semester
each year, in order to update the plan in anticipation of the annual
budget
process
that is launched the following fall semester.
