Collaborations and Sponsorships of Events and Programs

The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion works in partnership with departments and divisions throughout the University to support the promotion of diversity and inclusion, contribute to a campus climate that is welcoming to all, and initiate programs or resources that increase understanding and awareness.

  • Classroom visits and presentations are available by request. Staff within OIDI are available to support faculty and staff in sharing diversity and inclusion information, resources and research.
  • Fiscal Sponsorships for events and programs led and administered by other offices are available on a rolling basis. Past sponsorship programs include: Leymah Gbowee Lecture “Fear to Fortitude”, Do It! Grant programs such as World in Your Cup “Conversations on the Politics and Culture of Coffee” and Peace and Social Justice Week and more!
    • Eligibility for sponsorship includes:
      • relevancy to OIDI mission
      • demonstrated effort to reach broadest scope of campus community, or thoughtfully executed to reach target population
      • potential for sustainable impact clearly positive impact for campus community
      • all programs that receive full or partial funding from OIDI must include OIDI logo or acknowledgement in all marketing and reporting
