Utilities
We hope you're not planning on living in your apartment in the cold and dark. You're going to need some utilities, such as heat, hot water and electricity, if you want to live comfortably. Also, consider what kind of things you may need to keep in touch with the outside world, such as cable, phone service and the Internet. Here’s a list of the major providers for utilities in the Boston area. Reminder: The following utilities should be called prior to occupancy. The Comcast Advantage progam provides NU students with a $25 rebate for each service they recieve from Comcast. People who have Comcast High Speed Internet, Telephone, and Cable TV, can save $75 in minutes, just by filling out a quick online form. The rebate comes in the form of a statement credit on a subsequent bill.
