Community Ambassadors
Community Ambassadors are student leaders who care about the off-campus living experience for Northeastern students.Community Ambassadors serve the Northeastern community by connecting students to campus, city, & community events, city resources, and community service opportunities.
Living off campus can be stressful for students, especially when they feel disconnected from campus. One goal of the Community Ambassador program is to eliminate this disconnect. Community Ambassadors also encourage off-campus students to make positive contributions to their neighborhood, and help them recognize that they are residents of the community, not just students who live off-campus. Community Ambassadors serve as a resource for students with tenant rights issues. They not only provide students with information, but also promote self-help skills.

The learning outcomes for students who participate in the Community Ambassador program are as follows:
- Off-campus students who participate in the Community Ambassador program will demonstrate knowledge of tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities.
- Off-campus students who participate in the Community Ambassador program will be able to identify programs and services offered through Off-Campus Student Services.
- Off-campus students who participate in the Community Ambassador program will be able to recognize social responsibility within their respective neighborhoods.
Any off campus student can participate in the Community Ambassador program. Email ca@neu.eduif you have any questions about living off-campus. Come to an event or workshop hosted by the Community Ambassadors. The Community Ambassadors connect to off-campus students and keep them informed about events and workshops through an electronic bi-weekly update. To sign up to receive these updates email ca@neu.edu.
