Driving Directions

From Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
Drive Time to Northeastern University: 15-20 minutes

• When exiting airport follow signs for I-90 West/I-93 South/Williams Tunnel/Mass Pike
• Take the ramp onto I-90 West (toll road)
• Take exit 24 for I-93 and merge onto I-93 South
• Take exit 18 toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury/Andrew Square
• Turn right at first light off exit and follow toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury
• Proceed straight across Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard
• Continue for approximately two miles, proceed straight across Tremont Street
• At first light, turn left at Columbus Avenue
• International Village will be straight ahead

From the north (via Route I-93)

• Take exit 18 toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury/Andrew Square
• Turn right at first light off exit and follow toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury
• Proceed straight across Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard
• Continue for approximately two miles, proceed straight across Tremont Street
• At first light, turn left at Columbus Avenue
• International Village will be straight ahead

From the south (via Route I-93, Route 3)

• Take exit 18 toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury/Frontage Road
• Turn left at the third light staying in one of the two left lanes
• Proceed straight across Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard
• Continue for approximately two miles, proceed straight across Tremont Street
• At first light, turn left at Columbus Avenue
• International Village will be straight ahead

From the west (via Route I-90, Mass. Turnpike)

• Take exit 22 Prudential Center toward Copley Square
• Merge onto Stuart Street and immediately turn right at Dartmouth Street
• Turn right at Columbus Avenue/MA Route 28 South
• Continue for approximately one mile
• Columbus Avenue will lead you straight to International Village

Directions from Boston Train Stations

Northeastern University is accessible from both train stations in Boston. Upon entering each station, please follow signs to towards our Subway (MBTA) known as the "T" in Boston. Taxis are also readily available 24 hours a day upon exit of the train stations; allow 20 minutes for taxi ride to Northeastern. For more information please see the information on Taxis.

From North Station (Station Name: BON)

• Follow signs to the Orange Subway (T) line
• Take the Orange line inbound (towards Forrest Hills Station)
• Exit at Ruggles Station, International Village will be to your right

From South Station (Station Name: BOS)

• Follow signs to the Red Subway (T) line
• Take the Red line inbound (Towards Alewife Station)
• Exit at Downtown Crossing, follow signs toward Orange line
• Transfer to the Orange line (toward Forrest Hills Station)
• Exit at Ruggles Station, International Village will be to your right

Subway (MBTA)
Northeastern University is accessible by the Orange and Green Subway (T) lines.  When exiting the Logan Airport terminal follow the signs for the Silver Line Rapid Transit Bus route SL1 (Logan Airport – South Station):

• Take Silver Line SL1 to South Station follow signs toward the Red Line
• Transfer to the Red Line toward Downtown Crossing, follow signs toward Orange Line
• Transfer to the Orange Line toward Forrest Hills Station
• Exit at Ruggles Station, International Village will be to your right
