Northeastern has several different web options available to the Northeastern community. Please read about the different options below.
Before deciding on an option below please check with the head of your college. Some Northeastern colleges have specific guidelines regarding how websites should be built.

Marketing and Communications develops websites for colleges. Read more about Marketing and Communications.
Student groups can use involveNU to develop websites. involveNU is an online organization management tool that will allow for your organization to connect with your fellow students in many new ways! To get started in the system, log in to the myNEU portal and click on the “Community” tab. In the center column you will see the link for “involveNU.” Create a profile in the system, and go to the “My Orgs” tab at the top, and down to “Join an Org” to being searching for groups to be a part of! As an administrator to your organization, you have the option to create and design your own website by going to the “website” link on the left hand side of the page. Blackboard is a course management system that allows instructors to create, deliver, and manage web-based components for courses. It can be used to add online elements to a traditional course, or to develop completely online courses with few or no face-to-face meetings. Information Services offers Blackboard training and support.

If the options above do not meet your needs you do have the option of building your own site and hosting it on the nuweb server. Request server space here.
When filling out the request an account form you may also request a WordPress install on the nuweb server. Read more about setting up a WordPress site.
