Our Mission Statement
The objective of the Northeastern University Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society chapter shall be to afford an opportunity for, but not limited to, helping further the interest in science, with a focus in chemistry, throughout the greater Boston area. This includes helping students of the chemical sciences to become better acquainted, to secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, to obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, and to foster a professional spirit among the members. NUSAACS will strive to instill a professional pride in the chemical sciences, and to foster an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges facing the modern scientist. Furthermore, NUSAACS wishes to create a collaborative academic and professional environment for students and faculty.
