Contrary to the intimidating name, Nurse SharkTank is a welcoming event catered to developing ideas and products. Our team of investors are well versed in entrepreneurship and what it takes to take a product from your living room to every household and hospital in the United States. Be prepared to receive great feedback from possible investors and network with fellow attendees that could further develop your product!

Nurse Shark Tank is an event designed to bring Nurse Entrepreneurs, for an evening where they can display their product and pitch a team of investors for funding their idea or company. The event is designed to support young Nurse or Healthcare Entrepreneurs looking for an event to gain traction and support for their idea and venture. Northeastern nursing students, Huizi Gao and Sarah Ripollone: Incontinence Intervention Scale Project, which can be used to solve the problem of correctly managing incontinence to decrease time, cost, incidence of infection/skin-breakdown.

Admetsys has developed the first artificial pancreas system specifically for the needs of hospital and surgical care.

Medsentry which safeguards complex patients by simplifying the way they take their medications.

Power Assist Solutions which is a power assist device that attaches to manual wheelchairs in hospitals to make patient transport easier on nurses.

‘BPFlex’ of STA Technology Inc. Introducing the world’s first cuffless wearable blood pressure (BP) monitoring device that allows 24hr continuous BP monitoring at medical level to serve patients in and out hospital.

NextSteps Connect which is a customizable mobile app and knowledge sharing tool that helps nurses, social workers, and care coordinators quickly access up-to-date information on community resources and referral processes on behalf of high-need patient populations.

TORq Interface which helps solve the communication problem between hospitals and medical device representatives.

Caringly is a mobile application that makes handoffs easy, intuitive, and efficient for incoming and outgoing nurses between shifts while allowing Charge Nurses / Staff Supervising Nurses to automatically generate Shift Summary Reports.

TeleLactation Services decreases the number of readmissions of newborns via a new approach to lactation consultation services

Keysie and Key-Shirt is a solution for Mild Dementia and ADHD as it pertains to house keys. 

UDIAPER: A new diaper design for infants and the elderly which addresses the need to collect urine samples without the need for catheritization.

CleanCollection Products: New product design of the conventional “hat” and “urinals” that keep nurses safe and clean when collecting urine and stool samples, and easier emptying of waste without the traditional “splash” effect when emptying and cleaning hats and urinals – decreasing the risk for spreading bacteria/infection.
