Theresa Arnold, Associate Dean, NU Global
Theresa is responsible for the general oversight of The N.U.in Program. She served as the N.U.in Australia Site Director in 2007.

Jeanne Fahey, Assistant Director for The N.U.in Program
Jeanne is responsible for the development, execution and quality assurance of The N.U.in Program and the coordination of the hiring of staff.

Tanya Kennel-Hernández, N.U.in Program Coordinator
Tanya works collaboratively and collectively with other members of the N.U.in staff, and is responsible for the daily coordination of The N.U.in Program, specifically administrative tasks, marketing and communications support, customer service and orientations for new participants.

Michelle Moran, N.U.in Co-op and Program Assistant
Michelle supports all aspects of The N.U.in Program coordination and provides customer service for participants and parents. Michelle is responsible for initial participant and parent communication via phone and email, and assists the N.U.in staff in the pre-departure operational plan.

Fenna Robbins, N.U.in Program Assistant
Fenna started with N.U.in as a co-op and now works as a Program Assistant, providing support in the areas of hiring and program development, as well as customer service. 

Our On Site Team
Spending the semester abroad at one of the N.U.in sites is an exciting and rewarding opportunity and The N.U.in Program is committed to maintaining a healthy, safe, fun, and academically challenging environment for all participants.

As part of this commitment, Northeastern provides support staff members at each site, who accompany and provide on-site support for participants. Each site will have:

  • Professional Site Director
  • Assistant Site Director
  • International Student Advisors

Together, this team of professional staff and upperclass Northeastern students can respond to a range of issues and serve as a resource to participant’s on-site and family members at home. 

Site Director (SD) Job Description:
While abroad, the Site Director acts as the main agent for participant safety and security, and facilitates on-site program management and coordinates all administrative duties. Additionally, SD's enhance participant learning and support participant growth by acting as a resource and role model, teaching the one-credit Global Experience course for the participants, and organizing its required service-learning component. 

Assistant Site Director (ASD) Job Description:
While abroad, the Assistant Site Director will support the SD in the management of social, academic, service-learning, discipline, as well as liaison with staff and faculty from the host institution. Additionally, the ASD supports the SD to assure participant safety and security, manages general coordination of ISA duties and monitors the quality of the academic and social programming designed by the ISA's.

International Student Advisor (ISA) Job Description:
The ISA's are Northeastern University co-op students.  They work as peer advisors, educators, guides, role models, and support persons for N.U.in participants, while keeping the safety and well being of the participants as their number one priority.  The ISA also build community by developing and leading social, educational, and stress management activities with a focus on the safety and support for the extraordinary experience that The N.U.in Program has to offer.
