Q: Why did you choose Northeastern?
A: I love the city of Boston and once I learned about the Co-op program there was no other school for me. The facilities and housing as well as the reputation of Northeastern influenced my decision.
Q: What made you choose the NUin program?
A: It was an amazing opportunity. I was able to go abroad my first semester of college! Not many people get the option to do this.
Q: Describe your academic experience in England
A: I took five classes which all went towards my major and dealt primarily with England. The classes were small and it was a very personal environment. The majority of assignments were papers instead of exams.
Q: What were your goals for yourself in England and were they reached?
A: My main goal for myself in England was to be able to live and adjust in a different country and comfortably adapt to the culture while still staying focused on my studies. Thankfully, I completed all those goals and actually had a very hard time leaving.
Q: Describe your experience starting at Northeastern in January
A: I thought that everyone would already have a group of friends and be adjusted since they were here the first semester. That is not how it was at all. Everyone here has been incredibly friendly and wants to introduce me to all their friends. I love it here.
Q: Would you recommend NUin to future NU Spring Admitted students? Why?
A: I would DEFINITELY recommend this program to anyone who gets the chance. After telling my friends here at Northeastern what I got to do they started complaining about how they wish they had gotten accepted in the spring. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and you would be crazy not to do it!
