Supervision and Safety
Professional staff and advisors are assigned to each location. The Site Director will generally oversee the experience including academic, administrative, and student life opportunities. The International Student Advisors (ISAs) are typically Northeastern co-op students who serve as peer advisors, educators, guides, role models, and support persons to the NUin participants. NUin may assign an Assistant Site Director to a location with high participant enrollment for additional support. Additionally, each NUin location is also supported by the on-site staff at each host institution.
Enrolled participants and parents will be briefed on safety and security while abroad during the pre-departure orientation program.
