    Academics

Each NUin participant will take classes abroad, earning a total of 17 credits providing that the student receives a passing mark in all courses.  These credits will be recorded on the participant's NU transcript automatically as transfer credit at the time he/she enrolls for the spring semester at Northeastern.

NUin participants will take a variety of courses depending on the Northeastern college to which they have been admitted for the spring semester.   For example, the schedule of a College of Arts and Sciences spring admit student will be different than that of a College of Engineering spring admit student.  Courses will count in a variety of different ways, depending on the participant's intended major.  Types of course credit that will transfer to Northeastern include major credit, core credit, and elective credit.
