The Metropolitan Hotel provides daily, buffet-style breakfast and dinner for the N.U.in participants and staff. Although the hotel does an excellent job adapting food offerings based on student and staff feedback, it is important for students to remember that, akin to many dining halls, options can be limited. Further, it is especially important that students notify The N.U.in Program of any dietary restrictions in their enrollment paperwork so that the hotel can be aware of any concerns prior to the program start date. The hotel offers a nutritious variety of food incorporating traditional Greek cuisine and other cultural influences.
Participants will need to purchase their own lunch each day. On weekdays, the café at ACT offers a variety of hot and cold meal options including sandwiches, salad, and other entrees and snacks. In addition to lunch, past N.U.in participants have enjoyed the espresso and coffee offerings at the ACT café. Most students spend approximately $5-10 U.S. dollars for lunch on weekdays.
Weekend meals will vary based on personal preferences and travel. While in Thessaloniki, participants will always have breakfast and dinner available at the hotel.
