Deposits are non-refundable and due by midnight EST on May 1, 2012. The nonrefundable $1,000 deposit secures a student’s enrollment in the program, transition activities, travel arrangements, and Spring housing. Deposits should be paid online through myNEU. The estimated cost for the N.U.in Australia program is $30,680 (USD). Please note that the Fall 2012 N.U.in Program tuition and fees are estimates that are subject to Board of Trustee approval.
While every participant has different requirements for personal monthly budgets, students should plan to have $700-$1,200 available for personal expenses, such as food and travel. Obtaining a student visa, passport, mandatory cell phone, food and all other personal expenses will be additional.

During the Fall semester of The N.U.in Program, students who file for financial aid are considered for need-based Northeastern funding only. Grants, loans, and work awards from federal and state sources can be used beginning with the Spring semester for students who qualify. All supplemental loans, including the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan, are available to students and parents beginning with the Spring semester as well.
To see your financial aid award, log in to your myNEU student portal, click on the “Self-Service” tab and then on “My financial aid.” If you have questions, please contact the Office of Student Financial Services. The Office of Student Financial Services prides itself on offering expert advice, friendly service, and personalized support.
In order to process students’ enrollment in The N.U.in Program, students must complete the following: 1) General Enrollment Form 2) N.U.in Course Registration, and 3) Pre-departure Orientation Registration via the myNEU student portal. In addition, students must complete location specific pre-departure paperwork and upload the completed documents in their myNEU student portal.
