Social Impact Conference
The annual NS4G Social Impact Conference convenes nonprofit and foundation leaders, donors, funding intermediaries, policy makers, social entrepreneurs, faculty, students, and other social change agents to engage in shared learning about important topics in the social impact arena.
Past Social Impact Conferences
2012: From Mission to Market: Funding Social Impact in the New Economy
2013: Moving the Needle: Philanthropy’s Role in Policy, Advocacy, and Systems Change
Each of these events attracted 200 practitioners and students; another 200 watched the proceedings online.
Decisions with Impact
The Social Impact Conference also hosts the culmination of Decisions with Impact, a national student philanthropy video competition sponsored by the Learning by Giving Foundation. Through this competition, students apply their philanthropic knowledge and decision-making skills to compete for $10,000 on behalf of a nonprofit organization that reflects their philanthropic values and strategies. The Social Impact Conference is generously sponsored by the Arthur K. Watson Charitable Trust and presented in partnership with Associated Grant Makers and the Learning by Giving Foundation.
