When history goes digital

With sup­port from the National Endow­ment for the Human­i­ties, the Dig­ital Schol­ar­ship Group at North­eastern is hosting an inter­na­tional ser­vice called TAPAS that will pro­vide low-​​cost pub­lishing and storage ser­vices for users to create, curate, and share high-​​quality data using open-​​source tools.

50 Years Forward’ series honors civil rights efforts

In cel­e­bra­tion of the 50th anniver­sary of the land­mark Civil Rights Act, North­eastern Uni­ver­sity has orga­nized a year­long series com­mem­o­rating the people, events, and groups ded­i­cated to civil rights in America and around the globe. These events include a Gallery 360 exhibit opening Thursday.

Northeastern to expand library’s cutting-​​edge Digital Media Commons

Building on the Dig­ital Media Com­mons’ suc­cessful launch last year at Snell Library, North­eastern will expand the state-​​of-​​the-​​art work­space as part of a series of invest­ments designed to enhance next-​​generation teaching, learning, and dis­covery at the university.
