Partisan politics hinders debt-​​ceiling deal

Con­gress and Pres­i­dent Obama have yet to reach an agree­ment to raise the nation’s debt ceiling, a neces­sity to ensure that the United States is able to meet its finan­cial oblig­a­tions.
