Journalists with a breadth of experience working in the Jewish media were at Northeastern on Monday night for the Morton E. Ruderman Memorial Lecture to discuss the state of Jewish media.
The six delegation members, who represent the political spectrum in Israel and were brought to the U.S. by the Ruderman Family Foundation, participated in a town-hall event Tuesday night at Northeastern. Knesset members discussed a range of topics in a spirited yet civil discussion.
The prospects for peace between Israel and Palestine, and U.S. policy on the complicated issue, captured the world’s attention earlier this month, as President Obama delivered a major speech on the Middle East, followed by a daylong meeting between the president and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Netanyahu’s subsequent address to Congress.
