How does marine life survive climate extremes?

An inter­dis­ci­pli­nary team of researchers at North­eastern Uni­ver­sity has received a four-​​year, $1.2 mil­lion grant from the National Sci­ence Foun­da­tion to develop new ways to study how marine organ­isms respond to cli­mate related severe tem­per­a­ture stress.

Diving right in, student researcher explores ocean habitats

Fourth-​​year marine biology major Nadia Aamoum worked on inter­na­tional co-​​op on Mahe Island in Sey­chelles, where she learned the basics of dive research and which she is now applying to her work in the Three Seas Program.
