The John D. O’Bryant African-American Institute celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, the day that would have marked the civil rights leader’s 85th birthday.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the landmark Civil Rights Act, Northeastern University has organized a yearlong series commemorating the people, events, and groups dedicated to civil rights in America and around the globe. These events include a Gallery 360 exhibit opening Thursday.
