Northeastern to celebrate 2013 law graduates

More than 230 stu­dents will grad­uate from the School of Law in a Com­mence­ment cer­e­mony Friday after­noon at Matthews Arena. New Hamp­shire Gov­ernor Mar­garet Wood Hassan will deliver the Com­mence­ment address and receive an hon­orary degree.

Northeastern celebrates the Class of 2013

The uni­ver­sity will hold its 111th Com­mence­ment exer­cises on Friday to honor its grad­u­ates as well an influ­en­tial group of leaders receiving hon­orary degrees. Com­mence­ment cel­e­bra­tions kicked off Thursday with the second-​​annual doctor of phi­los­ophy hooding ceremony.

Northeastern announces 2013 honorary degree recipients

At its 111th com­mence­ment exer­cises in May, the uni­ver­sity will present hon­orary degrees to an accom­plished group of influ­en­tial leaders, as well as one that rec­og­nizes all of the first respon­ders and law enforce­ment who acted with extra­or­di­nary courage, com­pas­sion, and resolve fol­lowing the tragic Boston Marathon bombings.
