Going for the gold

North­eastern swimmer Kelley Becherer, ’15, who is legally blind, is rep­re­senting the United States in the 2012 Par­a­lympic Games in London this month.  She has already won two gold medals in her third con­sec­u­tive trip to the Par­a­lympics. In this video, Kelly dis­cusses her love for com­peting on the world’s biggest stage and her desire to over­come her chal­lenges in the pur­suit of success.
