Deniz Erdogmus, asso­ciate pro­fessor of elec­trical and com­puter engi­neering and director of the Cog­ni­tive Sys­tems Lab­o­ra­tory, dis­cusses how Brain Com­puter Inter­face tech­nolo­gies can help people with severe speech and phys­ical impair­ments to better com­mu­ni­cate with their friends and family and interact with their environment.
