North­eastern University’s Col­lege of Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion has named Hugh Courtney to its top spot. Mr. Courtney is cur­rently vice dean and a strategy pro­fessor at Uni­ver­sity of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Busi­ness, where he over­sees its under­grad­uate, M.B.A. and M.S. degree pro­grams, and leads the school’s executive-​​education arm. He will begin the new post July 1.
