Julian Jung was vacationing in Brazil in 2012 when he first had the idea of a mobile app that makes it easy for consumers to book tables at nightclubs and lounges and then split the bill with friends.

Jung, 24, turned his idea into Boston-based mobile app Tablelist, which surpassed $200,000 in top-line revenue since last December and launched last month in private beta in Las Vegas and New York City.

In Boston, the mobile app has had about 10,000 downloads since it launched last September and allows users to book tables at all of Boston’s nightclubs ranging from Shrine to Storyville.

Between 500 and 1,000 active users are booking tables at nightclubs all over Boston at any given time, said Jung, a Northeastern University graduate who is also an investor in Boston-based alcohol delivery service mobile app Drizly.
