A new human-​​like robot devel­oped and pro­duced by a Boston com­pany will likely find strong demand from U.S. man­u­fac­turers looking to auto­mate repet­i­tive tasks, according to some who follow the man­u­fac­turing sector in Massachusetts.

I’m sure (man­u­fac­turers) are going to want it,” said Barry Blue­stone, director of North­eastern University’s Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy, adding that “it may be pos­sible because of this robot to bring more pro­duc­tion back to the states.”
