The demand for family housing in Boston’s core neigh­bor­hoods is growing and it will con­tinue to grow,” said Barry Blue­stone, director of the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy at North­eastern Uni­ver­sity. “But the supply of that housing is almost impos­sible to aug­ment at prices that these fam­i­lies can afford.”
