You’ve probably used your Husky Card to make on-campus purchases, but did you know it’s also good at local restaurants, supermarkets, and even museums? Here’s a list of five establishments that will honor the Husky Card’s Dining Dollars, which can be used to purchase food, or Husky Dollars, which can be used to purchase goods.
Boston Burger Company, 1100 Boylston St. The winner of Rachel Ray’s “Battle of the Best Burger,” this relatively new addition to Boylston street boasts some of the most creative and best tasting burgers in town.
Wings Over Boston, 325 Huntington Ave. The Wings Over franchise has finally made its way to Northeastern’s campus. The wings are freshly hand breaded, and customers can choose from a mouth-watering list of more than 20 sauces and five dry rub flavors.
Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave. Admission is free for Northeastern undergraduates with a valid Husky Card. Stop by to catch its current exhibition of 1960s and 70s hippie style fashion and then peruse the bookstore and gift shop, which includes thousands of books on art, photography, and architecture, as well as jewelry, prints, and fashion accessories.
Pho & I, 267 Huntington Ave. This local gem is known near and far for its big menu, cozy atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Its Pad Thai won a grubHub Golden Grub Award in 2012 as a No.1 Customer Favorite.
Shaw’s Market, 53 Huntington Ave: A New England mainstay, this supermarket is a perfect one-stop shop for your kitchen needs. Just grab the weekly circular and your Husky Card and then let your Pinterest recipes come to life.
