What: North­eastern Uni­ver­sity Family Day at Fenway

When: Sat­urday, June 9, noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Fenway Park

Event Details: This Sat­urday, 350 boys and girls from Boston-​​area youth orga­ni­za­tions – including Big Brothers, Big Sis­ters of Mass­a­chu­setts Bay, Mis­sion Hill Little League, Roberto Clemente Little League, and the All Dorch­ester Sports League – will join more than 4,500 North­eastern alumni and stu­dents for an “up close and per­sonal” day of fun at Fenway Park.

This lively event will fea­ture photos with the World Series trophy and Wally the Green Mon­ster, as well as prac­tice swings in the bat­ting cage, face-​​painters, jug­glers, and magi­cians. Thanks to Lib­erty Mutual, kids from local youth orga­ni­za­tions will receive children’s books written by Fenway’s own Jerry Remy about Wally the Green Monster.

Family Day at Fenway is a key example of North­eastern University’s com­mit­ment to devel­oping and main­taining mean­ingful rela­tion­ships with its neigh­bors throughout the Greater Boston area.
