Northeastern University Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) selects, educates, trains, and commissions Cadets of Character to commission officers in the Total Army Force and partner with JROTC to instill the values of citizenship, national and community service, and personal responsibility. Cadets are trained with a focus on quality over quantity, standards, discipline, and team building. Northeastern ROTC aims to commission Second Lieutenants of character that have cognitive, interpersonal, and cultural skills necessary to make sound judgements in complex environments.
Liberty Battalion is part of 2nd Brigade, U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC).
Liberty Battalion has been commissioning officers for more than 60 years. With the rigorous course load offered by all of our schools, Cadets in the Liberty Battalion face a unique challenge managing academics, fitness, and ROTC commitments.
