Our central location is close to all the city has to offer. Within walking distance are the world-renowned Museum of Fine Arts, Symphony Hall, stylish Newbury Street, with great shopping and dining, and Fenway Park, home of the 2004 World Series champion Boston Red Sox. Hop on the 'T,' Boston's subway, and shop at Quincy Market, eat in the North End, visit the Museum of Science, or hang out in the funky squares of Cambridge, right across the Charles River. It's all in our backyard.

Northeastern has a proud tradition of engagement with the people of Boston. We were founded to open up new opportunities for city residents lacking economic advantages, and in the century since, we've tried to maintain and expand upon that mission.
