Welcome to NU's Web site
The purpose of the Northeastern homepage and administrative pages is to provide a single point of entry to information and services that are provided by departments within Northeastern University. Northeastern's web presence includes hundreds of sites, most independently managed and not administered by the University Marketing web development team. Staff in individual departments and offices maintain their own web pages within the Northeastern web presence; if contact information is provided on those pages, you may wish to contact those departments and offices directly.
Broken links and suggestions for improvements to any Northeastern web site can be emailed to error@neu.edu. Employees who note errors in the online employee directory should contact Human Resources so they may update the University's central database. For questions about admission to Northeastern or applying online, prospective students should contact the Admissions office. If you have questions about financial aid, you may contact Student Financial Services. Current students and employees having difficulties using any technology on campus, including MyNEU or Blackboard, should contact the NU Help Desk for assistance. Alumni should contact alumni@neu.edu for assistance in using the alumni online community.

Web Standards This site attempts to adhere to current web standards in order to increase accessibility, download speed, and efficiency of maintenance. If you're using an older browser with partial or nonexistent support for web standards, you will still be able to use this site; it will work better and look a lot nicer, however, with a modern browser. If you are unsatisfied by the appearance of the site, you have a few options available to you: 1. You can change the size of the text on all pages.
2. You can use the text-only version of the home page. 3. You can adjust your monitor settings. Web pages look different on nearly every monitor. You can compensate for this by setting your monitor to provide a view most comfortable to you. You typically make these settings using buttons on the front of your monitor or by using the "display" control panel in your operating system.
4. You can upgrade your browser. In most cases, more recent versions of browsers have fewer bugs and render web pages more effectively. Most browsers can be downloaded from the web for free. Before upgrading, check that your computer has sufficient processor speed and memory to support the new browser.
Your use of this site indicates your agreement with the University's Appropriate Use Policy. |
