Board of Trustees Staff
The Office of the Board of Trustees serves as a liaison between the Board of Trustees and the Office of the President.
Vincent Lembo has been elected to the position of secretary to the Northeastern University Corporation and Board of Trustees annually since 1988. Prior to his election, Lembo served as assistant secretary to the Board of Trustees for four years. He came to Northeastern University in 1979, working in both the development office for the School of Law and the government relations office. He became university counsel in 1982 and continued working as the University's state lobbyist until 1987. In addition, he has served as the secretary/administrator for two presidential searches: 1988-1989 and 1995-96. Lembo has served on numerous University committees and was chairman of President Richard M. Freeland's inaugural committee in 1996. He is also a member of the Huntington Society and the Twenty-Five Year Associates.
Deanna Jantzen has worked with the Board of Trustees since 1989 and oversees the development of governance agendas, policies, and protocols. She also coordinates contact with the Board on behalf of the President. Prior to the establishment of the Office of the Board of Trustees, Jantzen was the director of development and alumni relations at the School of Law and served nine years in the University's Office of Alumni Relations. A triple Husky, Jantzen holds a bachelor's degree in political science, a master's degree in public administration, and a juris doctorate from Northeastern. She also holds the position of assistant university counsel. Ingrid Ball Ingrid Ball interacts with members of the Board of Trustees on a daily basis, responding to requests related to their institutional responsibilities. She facilitates campus interactions with governing board members and coordinates all meetings of the governing boards. She has been with the University since 2000. |
