PRIOR NEPSA ANNUAL MEETINGS
2011 NEPSA Annual Meeting
The 2011 Annual Meeting took place on April 29 - 30 at the Hartford Marriott,
Hartford,Connecticut. The 2010-2011 NEPSA President was the late
Howard Reiter of the
University of Connecticut.
Special thanks to 2011 Program Chair Peter Ubertaccio of Stonehill College who took on additional burdens in the face of Howard's illness to produce another very successful meeting.
2010 Annual Meeting
The 2010 Meeting in Newport, RI, arranged by
2009-2010 President Fred Lewis was one of NEPSA’s most highly attended and successful Annual Meetings with almost three hundred faculty and graduate students on the program. Thanks to Secretary-Treasurer Joseph Reisert for continuing to contribute his solid, steady and indispensable labors; to
Program Chair Peter Ubertaccio and his staff and students at the Martin Institute for again administering an extremely impressive program; and to the outstanding
Section Heads who developed an excellent and wide ranging set of panels that maintained our traditional inclusiveness, producing constructive suggestions to younger scholars of promise while presenting an abundance of strong contributions from those more senior.
2009 Annual Meeting
The 2009 Annual Meeting was a great success. Thanks to 2008-2009 President Wilbur Rich, the Program co-chairs Peter Ubertaccio and Erin O'Brien, and to all section heads, panel chairs and discussants, and participants whose efforts make the annual meeting a vibrant intellectual affair.
2008 Annual Meeting
Thanks to 2007-2008 President Christopher Bosso and all who participated in the 2008 meeting, with special recognition to Program Co-chairs Paul Manuel and Anne Marie Cammisa and to all section heads. We also thank our sponsors -- Northeastern University, St. Anselm's College, Cambridge University Press, the Consul General of Canada, Brown University, CQ Press, the University of Rhode Island, and Lanahan Press -- whose support kept the meeting accessible to all. We look forward to a great 2009, marking NEPSA's 60th anniversary!
