Through the leadership of the Office of Multicultural and International Affairs (OMIA), a cross campus team of university faculty and administrators developed the LSAMP Leadership and Academic Enhancement Program as a resource for high potential historically underrepresented students with a passion and commitment to become industry and academic leaders in the STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Program options include: academic enhancement supplemental workshops; multiple mentoring relationships; leadership development workshops; and, outreach and community service initiatives.
