Erin Boles is Interim Executive Director of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, and leads MBCC’s advocacy, education and outreach efforts towards breast cancer prevention.
Rejecting the concept that breast cancer is an inevitable disease, Erin drives MBCC’s work towards considering and challenging the environmental contributors to the exceptionally high rate of the disease.
Towards that end, Erin also acts as a liaison to various federal and other statewide coalitions all working to eliminate toxic chemicals linked with health problems from our environment.
Prior to joining MBCC as Associate Director in 2006, Erin spent several years working in and around state government – as a non-profit lobbyist, legislative health and human services research staff and at the MA Dept. of Public Health.
