What is citation management software and how can it enhance your research and writing?Over the past several years, new technology has emerged to help manage, organize and prepare all of your research materials: articles, books, etc.Citation management software is your personal collection of reference materials (think iTunes for research materials). The tool allows you to add notes, produce annotated bibliographies, seamlessly insert references into your papers, and instantly produce properly formatted bibliographies at the end. As with the adoption of any new tool, it takes some time and effort on the front end to learn it and adopt it, but then you’ll reap benefits for years to come.
Presenter: Lisa Granquist, LPP PhD student
