Student Facts

MURP students

Each year the MS in Urban and Regional Policy program admits approximately 15 students. Most come to deepen their theoretical understanding and strengthen their practical skills. Students come from throughout the United States and, increasingly, from several different countries around the world.

Although we admit a few applicants directly out of college, students most often have several years of relevant work experience. The median age of the 2010 entering class was 27 and ranged from 22 to over 50.

The common thread shared by all MURP students is a commitment to improve the quality of life in urban communities.
