Huskies Ranked #15
The Northeastern Men's Ice Hockey Club, after a strong
second half of the season, have been ranked fifteenth in the Northeast
Region of the ACHA. With a 19-8-0-1 record, the Club has posted its
best record to date. The Huskies will play Western Connecticut State
University at home in the quarterfinals of the NECHA playoffs in the
coming weeks, and seek to move forward to the
semifinals of
the league playoffs for the first time in
team history.
Huskies Seek New Look For New Season The Huskies Club Hockey team will be dawning a new look for the upcoming 2009-2010 season. The new jerseys will probably incorporate a black jersey and a white jersey, most likely with the red and black "N" logo on the front. This will be the first time that the huskies will have fresh new jerseys of their own.

Northeastern University has almost finished the renovations on Matthews arena, the oldest arena in the nation. The new renovations will include new seats, a new jumbotron and other various structural fixes. Many of the sports that are played there will benefit from the enhanced appearance and new amenities. |
