Multiplicative Elements and Duality, II
ABSTRACT: Two
lectures are devoted to a detailed exposition of properties of multiplicative
elements and related questions. A multiplicative element lies in the tensor
product of a coalgebra and an algebra and establishes a duality between them,
connecting comultiplication in the coalgebra with multiplication in the algebra.
This statement reflects a general trend in mathematical physics: shifting
emphasis from applications and related analytical questions to the underlying
algebraic structures.
