Degeneracy Loci for Representation-Finite Quivers
ABSTRACT: We
will discuss the geometric meaning of equivariant Poincare duals of orbits
of Lie group representations (also called as "Thom polynomials", "degeneracy
loci formulae", "equivariant first obstructions"), together with an effective
method to compute them. We will apply this theory to quiver representations
corresponding to Dynkin graphs, a natural generalization of the Giambelli
- Thom - Porteous formula. In this application we will use the category of
modules over the path algebra of the quiver. For A_n graphs the relation
with double Schubert polynomials will be presented.
