Representation Dimension of Artin Algebras

ABSTRACT: The notion of representation dimension of an artin algebra was defined by Maurice Auslander in 1971. Recently Iyama has shown that it is always finite, and it is of interest to determine if it is at most three. We will show some families of algebras with this property, i.e., having representation dimension at most three.
