On
the Number of Subrepresentations of
a
General Quiver Representation
ABSTRACT:
Let
Q be a quiver without oriented cycles. Let b,c be two dimension vectors
and let a=b+c. Under the assumption <b,c>=0 it is expected that a general
representation of dimension a has finitely many subrepresentations of
dimension
b. We prove that this number equals to the dimension of the space of semi-invariants
on representations of dimension c, of weight <b, ->. This is a joint
work with H. Derksen and A. Schofield..
