Financial Aid

Federal financial aid is available in the form of low-interest government loans, for a current maximum of $20,500 per year, or $41,000 for the program’s duration.

For those who qualify, supplemental loans from federal, state and private educational loan programs can be used to finance costs in excess of your awarded financial aid. Details regarding financial aid can be obtained through Northeastern University’s office of Student Financial Services.

While there are no scholarships or teaching and research assistantships available through Northeastern University for the MS Marine Biology program, we encourage students to pursue external sources of funding and are committed to assist in any way possible.
