Sad news of the death of Walter W. Hartford Jr., E’43, of Lexington, Massa­chusetts, on July 15, 2007. Hartford, who was the president of the class of 1943 alumni association, worked at Raytheon for fifty years. He supported Northeastern as a donor to the Class of 1943 Presidential Scholarship, the Class of 1943 Professorship, the Veterans Memorial Fund, and the Northeastern Fund. Walter’s son, Kevin, BA’76, lives in Lexington. Robert Angus, E’47, of Bedford, Massachusetts, writes that his eleventh book, Advanced Circuits, has been published by Bowen’s Publishing.
