The Board of Trustees has named a search committee to recommend presidential candidates to the full board, with the aim of choosing a new president by next summer.

Trustee George Chamillard, UC'66, MBA'70, the chairman of Teradyne, heads the group. Other trustees on the committee are William Cotter, LA'73; Harry Daniels, L'71; Katherine McHugh, L'74; Henry Nasella, UC'77; Ronald Rossetti, BA'66; Carole Shapazian, LA'66, MS'72; Sy Sternberg, ME'68; and Jean Tempel.

Other committee members include attorney Ralph Martin II, L'78 (representing alumni); Bouve dean Stephen Zoloth and director of university planning and research Mark Putnam (representing the Northeastern administration); criminal justice sophomore Peter Kunzel; and faculty members Gilda Barabino, Barry Bluestone, and Carol Glod.
