Student orientation leaders break out dancing as technicians test the sound system in Northeastern’s new übermodern Visitor Center. The dance party erupted during a photo shoot just days before the official summer opening. With three life-size touch screens, 50 iPads, surround sound, and a fleet of wireless “smart” microphones, the Visitor Center has all the technology, customer service, and interactivity of an Apple store. The goal: to give visitors an immersive personalized experience of Northeastern.
