Sarah (Palmer) Ferris
, LA'70, of Rye, New York, is the vice president of marketing for Fuel and Marine Marketing, a joint venture between Chevron and Texaco.

Michael A. Pearson, BA'70, MBA'72, was named the 1999 Outstanding Ohio Accounting Educator by the American Accounting Association and the Ohio Society of CPAs. "I definitely learned my craft at Northeastern," he says. "I am indebted to the university and promote the institution at every opportunity." Pearson is a professor in the College of Business Administration/Graduate School of Management at Kent State University.

Edouard A. Piché, E'70, of Troy, Michigan, is an engineering group manager for the General Motors Truck Group. His group designs body hardware for GMC and Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, and Yukon trucks.

Peter Seremet, BA'70, of Alexandria, Virginia, is vice president of public affairs for United Distillers and Vintners, the largest spirits/beer/wine company in the world.

Bob White, E'70, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, retired in June 1998 after twenty-eight years with the Gillette Company. He says he spends time with his family and is involved in Wellesley town government.

Marc Alan Cohn, LA'71, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, celebrated his twentieth anniversary on the faculty of Louisiana State University. He is executive director of the Southern Society of Plant Physiologists and was appointed editor in chief of Seed Science Research last January. He recently traveled to England, Bulgaria, Mexico, France, and the Netherlands to speak about his research on the mechanisms of seed dormancy.

Mary M. Baker, N'72, of Sacramento, California, has been appointed to the Internal Steering Committee for development of the Magnet Nursing Services Recognition Program for Home Health Care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and to the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical State Plan Field Review Committee in California. She is the president and CEO of Chicken Soup, Plus, a home health care service.

Barbara Pike, BB'72, of Milton, Massachusetts, is a personal trainer. She notes she spends the winter playing golf in Florida.

Charles J. Saunders, UC'72, of Billerica, Massachusetts, has retired as president and CEO of the New England Wine Company, and has started a premium wine import business. Carol A. Facella, BA'73, MJ'74, is a professor of criminal justice at Salem State College. She and her husband, Michael Ervolini, and daughter, Joy Marie, live in Winthrop, Massachusetts.

Gail F. Holbrook, LA'73, of Chico, California, is a professor at California State University, Chico, teaching theatre arts, directing shows, designing costumes, and serving as managing director of the college's thirty-fourth consecutive summer theatre season. Nadine R. Yates, MEd'73, is a Fellow in the Society of Marketing Professional Services. She is the founding principal of N. R. Yates and Associates of Maynard, Massachusetts.

Edward A. Reznick, BA'74, of Greenville, Delaware, became president of Bankers Trust (Delaware) in June. He and his wife, Elyse Reznick, CJ'75, have a son, Graham, who is a student at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and a daughter, Becka, who is in the ninth grade in the Tatnall School in Wilmington, Delaware.

Alan L. Reiss, E'75, of Oceanside, New York, is the director of the World Trade Center in New York City.

John Clayton, LA'76, lives in Manchester, New Hampshire, and is a columnist with the city's newspaper, the Union Leader. He recently was named Columnist of the Year by the Associated Press of New England. Clayton has published three anthologies of his columns. He's also an Emmy Award­winning host of New Hampshire Crossroads on New Hampshire Public Television.

Barry C. Jones, PAH'76, of Wakefield, Massachusetts, is the chief pharmacist for the Peabody practice of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.

Arthur J. Kazianis, E'76, of Cranston, Rhode Island, is the vice president of quality control for Hasbro.

He is married to Laurie McIntosh, FD'75. They have three children: Adam, a senior at LaSalle Academy in Providence; and twin girls Elissa and Jenna, freshmen at LaSalle. Dan Kennedy, LA'79, of Danvers, Massachusetts, won the 1999 award for media reporting from the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies, and placed second in the competition for the 1999 Arthur Rowse Award for Press Criticism, sponsored by the National Press Club.
